Santa Cruz Island Nursery

The nursery at Santa Cruz Island is a collaborative effort between Growing Solutions, the UC Reserve, USGS, the National Park Service, The Nature Conservancy, and many dedicated volunteers. It will be used to grow plants for island restoration and as a teaching lab for environmental education. The solar-powered nursery is a work in progress and will include a seed lab and seed processing and storage facility.
